It's cold and if you live in Victoria you'd know that. We were talking about wheat yesterday and I knew I had all the right ingredients at home to make a little person wheat bag. Sure, it's not as flash as some amazing ones, but it's re purposed, apart from the chicken material pocket, and I made it, which makes me just smile looking at it. Now I hope the chickens don't mind sharing their wheat. I'm off to visit some amazingness over here and if you have a minute, why don't you pop round to a lovely friend's place and say hello, but don't talk to her about Man vs Wild , someone dro ve her crazy with it yesterday. Are you going to Daylesford on the weekend ?  I am and so very looking forward to it. Happy day friends, I'll see some of you tonight at NCB ♥ Pop round here also for a sound charm giveaway ✗ ♥

To all the mums that are beginning school/kinder holidays today, I hope you have a calm , stress free and most importantly a fun two weeks.  I am enjoying my little girl before she enters the big world of school next year and don't wish a day away, hanging on to it and savouring every moment...good or bad. We are making paper today....wish me luck. Happy week to you ♥ ✗ ♥

Doily inspired cupcake wrapper

Image
Granny squares and doilies are so very in at the moment, so I thought I'd dress up a little ol' cupcake with a paper doily. All I did was take a paper doily, cut it out and attach to a baked cupcake and in the words of these girls ,voila, très chic ! Happy day ♥ ✗ ♥

Happy Friday ♥

Thoroughly spoilt this week with wonderful packages of loveliness from the wonderful blogging world and virtual friends. Thank you Beck for the ever soo generous package you put together that practically had everything in it...not the kitchen sink, BUT organic garlic...and chocolate, yummy handmade soap, button hairclips and how could I even begin to describe the amazing little pirate bunny that you specially made for a certain little boy (who also happens to have a stitches scar)...and yes he feels as soft and cuddly as he looks. Thank you ♥ This wonderful brooch by the amazingly talented and new again mum Rachel , thank you ♥ Hope you can pop by and visit these lovely sweet ladies and say hello. Happy day lovely friends, I think I need to go off and ponder how I can now spread some more love and repay the good Karma. ♥ ✗ ♥

I just realised that I have been using honey and spices in alot of things lately, I guess it's because it's winter and the smells and tastes make you feel warm and sweet. Have been thinking about making Honey Jumbles for a while and saw them over at Liss's the other day and definitely had to try them as they look and believe me they smell soooo good!  My critics advise me they are delicious and very moreish. Just a bit wet at the moment after our walk this morning in the rain. I have been playing around with these and the kids love them.  It's nothing you haven't seen around before, but it's something that encourages their imagination and calm role play which is definitely a good thing. Hope you are having a wonderfully creative day, there's definitely a whole lot over here . ♥ ✗ ♥
