about me

I was trying to put this together last night and I read this, this morning and loved the idea of getting to know people a little better across the blogosphere.

I am a mum to two adventurous creatures who I would not give up for anything and that's why
I work from home so I can spend time nurturing a watching my two little beings grow and evolve.
I have a wonderfully loving and caring partner who is a talented chef and that's why I bake and hardly ever cook.

I travelled alot overseas and worked there as well, studied art and photography and always loved to make people smile through my art and through my baking experiments.

I love baking because of the pleasure it gives other people, whether it's them tasting or trying my recipes or just seeing my kids enjoy making things and loving it and I love taking photos just as much as I love breathing.

I am a fussy vegetarian and although I love to bake I don't try any of my recipes unless they have been modified for my weird taste. So, no, I have never eaten a gingerbread man or even a cupcake, I get my family to do the tasting for me.

So, that's just a little bit about me, I really hope you could tell us more about you, I know I love getting to know my friends in blogland.

Thanks for reading this far ♥
Hope you are having a fabulous October!

  1. Funny that's how Leonie imagined you because I always get a shock that you're not blonde. So ace getting to know you too. I never eat my baked goods and I am a fussy vegetarian as well. People think I'm mad, I'm so happy to meet someone else mad. Good luck with this crazy thing we've signed up to. see (read) you tomorrow.

I am in awe of people who bake but then never try their creations! The baking smells are so hard to resist, I jump at all my baked goodies as soon as they're out of the oven!

One day I think you should try a cupcake!!

  18. Hey Cath :)
Didn’t think i-Vefa was worth letting anyone know about..my cooking adventures are sub-par and in no way shape or form comparably to ones such as m.e. which I’ve found to be an invaluable read. What you’ve done with m.e. is amazing might I add and quite an inspiration. Keep it all up and I hope to see you guys soon :) The publicist asked me if you’ll be at the market on Saturday? She’s been dying to show m.e…:)

I am fascinated as to why, as a 'strict vegetarian' you cannot eat your own cupcakes?! Do they contain hidden sausages? Or are you just vegetarian AND health conscious?! I too am a vegie... but I am quite fond of a cupcake or several! Love your blog..... xo

  20. I think that's my favourite thing about blogs, reading about the people themselves. I'm more likely to stop and read their blog once I've found their about page and 'get to know them'.
    Thanks for sharing!!
