I have been extremely lucky with blog giveaways lately and have won an extremely beautiful pack from the gorgeous and lovely Liesa at Handmade Heaven and a very supercute Bugga Bugs giveaway hosted by the very, very talented Alicia at The Red Deer , so a very BIG thank you ladies! If you haven't visited them yet, why don't you pop by for a visit and enjoy their fabulous blogs! So to give back to the good Karma giveaway fund, I visited a cake decorating store for some inspiration...and I came out with a box full of cupcake papers, that's about 600 or more. I think I was in that shop for a good 45 minutes, I am not joking, it's like a kid in a candy store...or a fabric store for my lovely sew crafty blog friends :) Now all you have to do is leave a comment, nothing much, just a hello or share a joke. I'll leave it open till midnight Saturday the 31st of October and also the end of Blogtoberfest and draw a winner from a hat or bowl or bag and announce it on Sunday...
oooohhh.. can't wait to see your creation!
ReplyDeletewhat gorgeous fabric for a foodie! I would love to know where you got that!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photo as always Cathie. And great fabric. I'm looking forward to the end product!
ReplyDeleteIs that a fabric cutting deal'e, or are you using your pizza wheel for crafting...?!
ReplyDeleteHehe... I don't even have one of those! (She says as though she crafts so much more than she talks or thinks about it...)
That fabric looks just perfect for you!
ReplyDeleteIt is hot isn't it - I was hoping the rain would bring more 'cool' than it has - it's still pretty sticky.
I love that even though you are not baking, you are thinking about it. Can't wait to see the apron :)
ReplyDeletegreat fabric choice!
ReplyDeletecute! i need to get an apron for all the baking i do:-)
ReplyDeleteA bikini under the apron, great option!! 'tis hot here, after the rain, time to mow AGAIN!! I've been hibernating, very productive!! Oh & baking, for a little morning tea tomorrow. Love Posie
ReplyDeleteThe fabric is very cute,it will look perfect as an apron. I need to make myself one of those instead of wearing my Miss 10's.:) I hope the weather is better down there tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteNice fabric and good for you - nice to do something a bit different. Thank goodness for the rain, hey - I'm so over the humidity! Nic
ReplyDeleteI can only imagine that an apron would make you even hotter and more uncomfortable.........unless you're thinking of wearing it with nothing at all underneath it Cathie! lolol. Oh my! Now there's a very cool idea dontcha think? :)
ReplyDeleteYes, hasn't it been sticky the last couple of days? Not fun for baking at all....
ReplyDeleteStay calm and breathe easy - if I can crack an apron (I presume you're not doing a three piece suit along a cookery theme?) then anyone can.
ReplyDeleteCute fabric, shall we see a cute apron in the not to distant future? Not so hot here, but very, very wet!
