I have been extremely lucky with blog giveaways lately and have won an extremely beautiful pack from the gorgeous and lovely Liesa at Handmade Heaven and a very supercute Bugga Bugs giveaway hosted by the very, very talented Alicia at The Red Deer , so a very BIG thank you ladies! If you haven't visited them yet, why don't you pop by for a visit and enjoy their fabulous blogs! So to give back to the good Karma giveaway fund, I visited a cake decorating store for some inspiration...and I came out with a box full of cupcake papers, that's about 600 or more. I think I was in that shop for a good 45 minutes, I am not joking, it's like a kid in a candy store...or a fabric store for my lovely sew crafty blog friends :) Now all you have to do is leave a comment, nothing much, just a hello or share a joke. I'll leave it open till midnight Saturday the 31st of October and also the end of Blogtoberfest and draw a winner from a hat or bowl or bag and announce it on Sunday...
Oh I love your photos, so beautiful! Can't wait to see what you are creating and I hope you find some more wool!

Well look at you go - I think the crafty folk you've been hanging out with here are rubbing off on you. Look forward to seeing the end result.
ReplyDeleteNot laughing, can't wait to see what you are making :) The knittinghelp link posted by ginevra should help.
ReplyDeletei am kind of giggling, don't you just tie a knot? i have know idea, i cant knit to save my life! good luck cathie & cant wait to see the end result xox
ReplyDeleteYeah I'm with curly pops and jade - I think you just make a small, neat knot that ties the two ends together and it's pretty invisible in the final product. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteWhat is going over at yours Ms Cathie? No laughing from me, just a bit of hoping. XX
ReplyDeleteknitting and crocheting is not my thing>< So can't help...

How can you make a scrap of wool look so beautiful? I applaud you.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos. I just tie the two ends together which is the easiest but probably not the most professional way of doing. For other methods search youtube. I always find good knitting tutorial videos there.
ReplyDeleteMy suggestion is..um...er...oh yes, I forgot, I know nothing about knitting, sorry, but your photos are lovely.
