So cute, my daughter has this skirt in red with with trim - a real twirler. I checked out the linked and ended up at Picnick - I think you have introduced me to a new addiction - I had planned to knit for the last half hour, but have been lomising, polaroiding, ortonising and other things instead. Will try the little animation tomorrow - must knit before bed. Sleep well Carmel
I have been extremely lucky with blog giveaways lately and have won an extremely beautiful pack from the gorgeous and lovely Liesa at Handmade Heaven and a very supercute Bugga Bugs giveaway hosted by the very, very talented Alicia at The Red Deer , so a very BIG thank you ladies! If you haven't visited them yet, why don't you pop by for a visit and enjoy their fabulous blogs! So to give back to the good Karma giveaway fund, I visited a cake decorating store for some inspiration...and I came out with a box full of cupcake papers, that's about 600 or more. I think I was in that shop for a good 45 minutes, I am not joking, it's like a kid in a candy store...or a fabric store for my lovely sew crafty blog friends :) Now all you have to do is leave a comment, nothing much, just a hello or share a joke. I'll leave it open till midnight Saturday the 31st of October and also the end of Blogtoberfest and draw a winner from a hat or bowl or bag and announce it on Sunday...
As the weather warms up the kids tend to ask for something cold and yummy to enjoy after school. Reading the ingredients labels on ice cream I feel at a loss trying to figure out what all those numbers mean, I mean really, it’s just ice cream, how many ingredients need to be in there after all. I love to try and make everything from scratch so why not ice cream, well I had a go and using an ice cream maker made it really quick and easy. Here’s a basic recipe I made using a Cusinart ice cream maker Berrylicious ice cream Makes 1 litre Ingredients ¾ cup whole milk ½ cup sugar or honey if you prefer 1½ cups cream 150grams mixed berries, thawed and slightly mashed with a fork Method U sing a mixer or hand whisk, mix milk and sugar in a bowl for a few minutes until sugar has dissolved Add cream and mix until combined Turn the machine on and pour the mixture into freezer bowl, and let it mix until thickened, about 25 minut...
It feels like I haven't been around for such a long time and I really have missed you! There has been alot going on in the m.e family but I am still camera challenged so for the first time in many years I feel unable to express myself. Unable to document moments in our family's life that are firsts and some that just need to be filed away and remembered. kinder friends and their Diwali henna tattoos The kids went on their first ever camel ride the other day at the Whittlesea show and I couldn't photograph it, I baked a cake and wanted to share it with you but I couldn't. So while I await for my cameras return I have been using Amelie's camera and funnily enough...I have absolutely no idea how the functions work so things may still be a little quiet around here. As for today, I tried so hard to control the tears as another first came around, Amelie's prep orientation. After a little bit of hesitant start she was happy and excited and I even got a d...
