Hi Cathie, yes i smiled today! Had a call from a fellow blogger (English living in USA) we had a right laugh! We use Picasa, is that an okay one for what I use it for?xxx
What a great picture you've made, Cathie. If I ever get lucky enough to get photoshop up and running I know just who to call on for help!!! Thank you, lovely. x
No i haven't really smiled today but I did have a small upturned lip when I saw how lovley your photo looked. I use picnik. Easy to use and it does all the things I need it to do but in saying that I am interested in knowing what you can do with Photoshop.
Yes, big smiles, at Busy swimming, at seeing her and her little buddy seeing each other and squealing with excitement and the same again when we caught up with a another little mate of hers- so sweet how excited they were to see each other!!!
I use picnik for big things like my header but mainly just use the really basic basic basic photo editing stuff on the computer for my blog pics.
What a nice way to start the weekend...with a smile. I use Photoshop(bought recently) and still in the process of learning. I bought a book that is suppose to show me the tricks. Have a nice smiley day.
You're so sweet! I had smiles all day long for my Little Miss' party. Completely shattered and off to be in a minute. I've been playing around a little with Picnick, since you introduced me to it a couple of weeks ago. I am planning on purchasing Photoshop in the next few weeks, and may indeed be asking your advice, you kind lady! Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Carmel x
I did smile today! I saw the big boys have fun at their swimming lessons, and then the littlest man and I pottered around the local nursery this afternoon. I cannot help but smile at these things!
I use Picassa. I am slowly finding my way around Photoshop, slowly!
I smiled all day long:) My hubby had an op on his eyes yesterday and is so happy now he can see, and that made me smile. I hope that you smiled today too Cathie:) Thank you for making me smile xo.
P.S. I only use basic editing software that came with my camera but I would love to know how to use Photoshop.
Dear Cathie , I am new in Blogland and there is so much I do not know yet . Would love to be able to have other lettertypes and many more ... But I'm learning and discouvering .... Have a wonderfull smiling weekend .
a good few smiles today here - and an extra one seeing your post! I use G.I.M.P. for photo editing because that's what my husband has set up on the computer, but I'm tempted to try something different and experiment more with different presentation styles...
Well you statred me off with a smile already! Amelie is quite the artist! Just like her mama! I wish I had time to edit! I just really try hard to take the pic as useable as I can or I would never get a post up :) But there is a huge difference between my slap ups & in those edited pics of yours...yours are all gorgeous & make me tempted to try my hand...but when! :)
Smiling now. I use both for photos. When I have more time I can really get into photoshop though I have an old version. If you give tips, I will take notes.
Good morning! I use Picasa a lot and sometimes Picnik. I tried a free version of Photoshop...but will have to retire from work before I put more time into learning it.
Picasa, Photobucket and Picnik are perfect for me right now :o)
Love your little apple clothespins! will have to make some of those for school! *happy weekend* ~Maria
most of my images are SOOC because i have been too intimidated with photoshop to even try it. someone told me that picnik was rubbish so i havent even gone there. yes, i would love your help!
Hi Cathie! That made me smile too. I'm a regular smiler and giggler, I have quite a reputation for it in some parts:) But I don't know how to edit photo's, so thanks for your lovely offer of assistance:)) xo
I have no idea about editing and what you see on my blog is how I took the photo - would love some tips - might have to look into a few ideas - I would love a cute banner for my blog - but have no idea where to start.
I use Picnic, which is easy as pie and also Picasa. Jeffrey and Sloane got me PSE for Mother's Day, which was a perfect gift. Except it's so darn hard to use. Not intuitive like Microsoft programs. You know?
Lots of smiles today. It was warm and sunny. Miss Bee had some friends over and I could hear them laughing and giggling as they played dress-ups. I use picasa cause that's what MATH uses and he's become a bit of an editing whizz. Though Picnik does look like fun to use - I may have to give it a go.
I’m so happy to pop over and find you smiling!!! I have been smiling non stop since finding out my exhibition news! I am a huge fan of picnik, but for some bigger jobs I used photoshop elements. I have just fumbled my way along with both, so any tips you anted to share would be much appreciated.
Thanks for the help offer Cathie, you are very talented and would appreciate any tips from you.I have used picnik lately and found it easy enough to manage on my own :)But will be always keen to learn more ;)Happy smiles to you too xx
I have been extremely lucky with blog giveaways lately and have won an extremely beautiful pack from the gorgeous and lovely Liesa at Handmade Heaven and a very supercute Bugga Bugs giveaway hosted by the very, very talented Alicia at The Red Deer , so a very BIG thank you ladies! If you haven't visited them yet, why don't you pop by for a visit and enjoy their fabulous blogs! So to give back to the good Karma giveaway fund, I visited a cake decorating store for some inspiration...and I came out with a box full of cupcake papers, that's about 600 or more. I think I was in that shop for a good 45 minutes, I am not joking, it's like a kid in a candy store...or a fabric store for my lovely sew crafty blog friends :) Now all you have to do is leave a comment, nothing much, just a hello or share a joke. I'll leave it open till midnight Saturday the 31st of October and also the end of Blogtoberfest and draw a winner from a hat or bowl or bag and announce it on Sunday...
I just realised that I have been using honey and spices in alot of things lately, I guess it's because it's winter and the smells and tastes make you feel warm and sweet. Have been thinking about making Honey Jumbles for a while and saw them over at Liss's the other day and definitely had to try them as they look and believe me they smell soooo good! My critics advise me they are delicious and very moreish. Honey Jumbles ingredients 90g butter 3/4 cup honey 2 cups plain flour 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda 1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger 1 1/2 teaspoons mixed spice 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 2 tablespoons milk icing 1 egg white 1 1/2 cups icing sugar, sifted vanilla extract strawberry paste Method Place butter and honey in a saucepan and slowly bring to the boil over a low heat. Simmer for a few minutes, then allow to cool for about 15 minutes Sift flour, bicarbonate of soda and spices and add to butter mixture, gently stir in milk. A...
As the weather warms up the kids tend to ask for something cold and yummy to enjoy after school. Reading the ingredients labels on ice cream I feel at a loss trying to figure out what all those numbers mean, I mean really, it’s just ice cream, how many ingredients need to be in there after all. I love to try and make everything from scratch so why not ice cream, well I had a go and using an ice cream maker made it really quick and easy. Here’s a basic recipe I made using a Cusinart ice cream maker Berrylicious ice cream Makes 1 litre Ingredients ¾ cup whole milk ½ cup sugar or honey if you prefer 1½ cups cream 150grams mixed berries, thawed and slightly mashed with a fork Method U sing a mixer or hand whisk, mix milk and sugar in a bowl for a few minutes until sugar has dissolved Add cream and mix until combined Turn the machine on and pour the mixture into freezer bowl, and let it mix until thickened, about 25 minut...
