I have the same load of clothes sitting in my basket. The washing machine is taking off in the laundry. My very own airplane. The joys of making the most of the sun that has crept out.
Enjoy your afternoon. I have a feeling both of us will still have our clean washing in the same position tomorrow. Oh please tell me I am not the only mother that does that! xx
I have little doubt that you really really will get on to that folding. But were it my load of washing, all my good intentions would be extended to at least Friday...Happy week, Mrs!
Looks like the perfect Monday morning at home. Glad you have your priorities right with the washing left for last :) Hope you enjoy your afternoon. Lou.
I have had a load of washing on the line for a week. Just when I thought it was safe to do washing it started pouring with rain again. The skies have been blue today though so hopefully the rain has gone away for a while.
Monday at our place just started. Curious what today will bring ;D Your last picture made me smile, well actually I'm still smiling... I gr#%&gr washing. Hope your evening will be a lovely one, give your sweet peas a big hug for me. xoxoxo

Unfortunately my nesting hasn't hit the clothes folding stage just yet, my MIL was here on the weekend and folded four baskets for me, it is like we have new wardrobes, so many clothes I forgot we had! Will let you know if I get the urge xx
Mmm won't show that dirt shifting to my Josh, he'll be jealous!
I wish I had clean clothes in a basket....my washing machine has broken down, I'll be calling the repair man in the morning first thing!! On the upside meant I didn't spend the long weekend washing clothes, just enjoyed my family :).
Oh what a Glorious life you live... I miss the pretty artwork that used to decorate my fridge...you are true blessed...enjoy each and every moment dear friend! Happy Day Dearest...smile on Rosie
I have been extremely lucky with blog giveaways lately and have won an extremely beautiful pack from the gorgeous and lovely Liesa at Handmade Heaven and a very supercute Bugga Bugs giveaway hosted by the very, very talented Alicia at The Red Deer , so a very BIG thank you ladies! If you haven't visited them yet, why don't you pop by for a visit and enjoy their fabulous blogs! So to give back to the good Karma giveaway fund, I visited a cake decorating store for some inspiration...and I came out with a box full of cupcake papers, that's about 600 or more. I think I was in that shop for a good 45 minutes, I am not joking, it's like a kid in a candy store...or a fabric store for my lovely sew crafty blog friends :) Now all you have to do is leave a comment, nothing much, just a hello or share a joke. I'll leave it open till midnight Saturday the 31st of October and also the end of Blogtoberfest and draw a winner from a hat or bowl or bag and announce it on Sunday...
I just realised that I have been using honey and spices in alot of things lately, I guess it's because it's winter and the smells and tastes make you feel warm and sweet. Have been thinking about making Honey Jumbles for a while and saw them over at Liss's the other day and definitely had to try them as they look and believe me they smell soooo good! My critics advise me they are delicious and very moreish. Honey Jumbles ingredients 90g butter 3/4 cup honey 2 cups plain flour 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda 1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger 1 1/2 teaspoons mixed spice 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 2 tablespoons milk icing 1 egg white 1 1/2 cups icing sugar, sifted vanilla extract strawberry paste Method Place butter and honey in a saucepan and slowly bring to the boil over a low heat. Simmer for a few minutes, then allow to cool for about 15 minutes Sift flour, bicarbonate of soda and spices and add to butter mixture, gently stir in milk. A...
As the weather warms up the kids tend to ask for something cold and yummy to enjoy after school. Reading the ingredients labels on ice cream I feel at a loss trying to figure out what all those numbers mean, I mean really, it’s just ice cream, how many ingredients need to be in there after all. I love to try and make everything from scratch so why not ice cream, well I had a go and using an ice cream maker made it really quick and easy. Here’s a basic recipe I made using a Cusinart ice cream maker Berrylicious ice cream Makes 1 litre Ingredients ¾ cup whole milk ½ cup sugar or honey if you prefer 1½ cups cream 150grams mixed berries, thawed and slightly mashed with a fork Method U sing a mixer or hand whisk, mix milk and sugar in a bowl for a few minutes until sugar has dissolved Add cream and mix until combined Turn the machine on and pour the mixture into freezer bowl, and let it mix until thickened, about 25 minut...
