Friday
Yay, it's Friday! That's good because it's a long weekend here in Australia. That means everyone is home on Monday, I love that.
I just wanted to share some of my favourite moments this week
baking these moon cookies (as Aidan calls them)
having fun setting up this page , I'd love you to pop by and say hello
listening to this beautiful music thanks to Clare
wearing some brooch loveliness from Louana thanks to Susie for organising it
making mini bunting for my afternoon tea next week, are you coming?
loving beautiful flowers and gorgeous uni friends visiting
especially loving, autumn leaf showers and gorgeous little people giggling
What have you been up to?
I am especially loving all the love as well...you knew that didn't you ♥

:-D I loved having coffee with a very lovely lady, and then having a second lovely lady catch us there and stop in for a coffee too! xx
ReplyDeleteAt first glance I thought the bouquet was actually coloured cabbages, then I thought flowers, then I thought coloured cabbages again. But it must be flowers or you would have said coloured cabbages! A bouquet of vegetables would be very cool.
ReplyDeleteSee you at the afternoon tea!
what a wonderful week you've had - so many pretties and goodies and yummies.
ReplyDeleteYour FB page is looking great ! All those wonderful photos in one spot.
That kale is superb - so tricky !
Lots to love there especially those gorgeous flowers, the likes of which I don't think I've seen before. What are they? gxo
ReplyDeleteA whole lot of Love in this lovely post! Enjoy the long weekend and those giggling little ones, they are having fun with those leaves, great picture.
ReplyDeleteHope your tea party will be a huge succes, take care, Maureen x
That post made me smile. Have a happy long weekend Cathie :)
ReplyDeleteWould love to come to your afternoon tea - and all your pretties here are so gorgeous! We have a long weekend as well - and i'll be thinking of you! xox

ReplyDeleteI've been looking forward to the long weekend too; finished uni yesterday so its the start of a nice 5 week break. Looks like youve had a great week :-)
ReplyDeleteHang on a sec - you get a day off for the queens's birthday? Surely this is a day we should get two in the UK?
ReplyDeleteAlthough I guess we did get the wedding day off, and we get another day off for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee next year. But still, the more days off the better :)
Hope you have a great weekend. Enjoy. You deserve!
little people giggling with all those leaves....whats not to love!! Wishing you bouquets of love for this long weekend, enjoy! TK xx
ReplyDeleteAll the best for your afternoon tea next week Cathie - that bunting will look so cute all made up. There's nothing cuter than little friends throwing autumn leaves around the place and the inevitable giggling that ensues. Have a marvellous long weekend sweet lady!
ReplyDeleteMy husband and daughter go to work and day care at a uni, so they'll be there on Monday while I have a day off alone (I'm loving making lots of plans for that day!)
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to the afternoon tea - let me know if I can do anything to help xo
Oooo yummy, moon cookies! They look delectable. And I do love those cabbage flowers (at least that's what I think they are), I went through a phase of buying those often, they're so unusually pretty.

growing up in canberra in autumn as a child was amazing. There were always crispy leaves to throw around, and kick at your friends. Such a beautiful moment to capture. How I wish I could have tea with you next sunday! x
ReplyDeleteSounds like a gorgeous day :)
ReplyDeleteJust added moon cookies to our to do list for this week! And we definitely need to get outdoors for some vigorous leaf jumping and throwing!
